HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Soccer weekly award winners on Monday, with Marymount’s Eleanor Keough being named Player of the Week and Jaylee Cortez being named Defensive Player of the Week.

Player of the Week: Eleanor Keough
School: Marymount
Class: Freshman
Position: Midfielder
Hometown: Latham, N.Y.
High School: Shaker
Brief Outlook of Week: In Marymount's pair of AEC wins last week, Eleanor Keough continued her offensive dominance. The first-year netted two goals and dished out two assists for the Saints, including the game winner against Centenary, to keep them undefeated in conference play. She had 14 total shots on the week, seven on goal.  

Defensive Player of the Week: Jaylee Cortez
School: Marymount
Class: Senior
Position: Defender
Hometown: Woodbridge, Va.
High School: Woodbridge
Brief Outlook of Week: Cortez continued to lock down the backline for the Saints in a pair of shutout wins last week. Playing in 168 out of 180 minutes, the senior stalled the offense of both of their opponents, allowing just five shots across two matches in conference play.

 

Weekly Honor Roll: 
Rebecca Gordon, Gwynedd Mercy: The Red and Gold captain totaled five points (two goals, one assist) in a 7-0 victory over St. Elizabeth. Gordon scored the first goal and fourth goal, assisting on the second.

Lily McGee, Immaculata: McGee tallied two goals and two assists, helping lead the Mighty Macs to a pair of Atlantic East Conference victories. She recorded a goal and an assist in Immaculata's win over Saint Elizabeth on October 14 before factoring in both goals in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Pratt. McGee assisted on the opening goal in the 17th minute before finding the back of the net in the 66th minute to help secure the win.

Savannah DePaz, Pratt: Depaz recorded 20 saves across two complete-game starts this week, highlighted by a five-save shutout against Centenary and a career-high 15-save performance against Immaculata.

Emma Pratt, Pratt: The senior tallied a hat trick and an assist in a 5-0 victory over Centenary University on Wednesday. On Saturday, she played all 90 minutes at Immaculata, recording a team-high three shots and putting one on target.
