HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Soccer weekly award winners on Monday, with Gwynedd Mercy’s Anna Nicosia being named Player of the Week and Zoe Davis being named Defensive Player of the Week.

Player of the Week: Anna Nicosia
School: Gwynedd Mercy
Class: Junior
Position: Midfield
Hometown: Columbus, N.J.
High School: Northern Burlington Regional
Brief Outlook of Week: Nicosia scored one goal after assisting the opening goal in 2-0 win over PSU Brandywine. 

Defensive Player of the Week: Zoe Davis
School: Gwynedd Mercy
Class: Sophomore
Position: Goalkeeper
Hometown: Riverside, N.J.
High School: Riverside
Brief Outlook of Week: Davis posted two saves in her 45 minutes played as the Griffins posted a 1-0 win over Wilson College. The sophomore followed that with a 90 minute, three save win against PSU Brandywine (2-0), posting two shutouts on the week. 

Weekly Honor Roll: 
Husenica Addi, Immaculata: The junior goalkeeper entered the game at halftime and turned in a strong defensive performance making three saves in the second half while keeping the Ospreys of Stockton off the scoreboard. Husenica’s biggest moment came in the 57th minute, when she saved a penalty kick.

Chloe Tien, Pratt: Tien played a part in three goals in Pratt's 6-2 season-opening win over SUNY Maritime, scoring twice with an assist.
