HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Soccer weekly award winners on Monday, with Gracie Repici of Immaculata being named Player of the Week and Savannah DePaz of Pratt being named Defensive Player of the Week.

Player of the Week: Gracie Repici
School: Immaculata
Class: Sophomore
Position: Forward
Hometown: Cape May Court House, N.J.
High School: Middle Township
Brief Outlook of Week: Repici recorded three goals and one assist, for seven points, over two games. She opened the week on with a 17th minute goal against Widener to give Immaculata an early lead. The sophomore followed that performance with two goals and one assist, in a 7-2 victory over Cedar Crest.

Defensive Player of the Week: Savannah DePaz
School: Pratt
Class: Senior
Position: Goalkeeper
Hometown: Chapel Hill, N.C.
High School: Carrboro
Brief Outlook of Week: Depaz recorded a nine-save clean sheet and turned aside a penalty kick to lead Pratt to a 3-0 win over Purchase College on Thursday. The senior stopped five shots in the first half to preserve a 3-0 lead, then turned away four more attempts in the second half. Her signature moment came in the 63rd minute, when Depaz saved a penalty kick to keep the Panthers off the board. It was her second straight individual shutout and the team’s third straight clean sheet. 

 

Weekly Honor Roll: 
Arianna Blanco, Marymount: Blanco netted a pair of goals in a 1-1 week for the Saints, including the game-winner against Hood College last Wednesday. She scored once against the Blazers before adding another at Lynchburg.

Mara Dufour, Marymount: Dufour notched a shutout in the Saints' win over Hood College on Wednesday, knocking away one save. Across the week, the junior had eight total saves, racking up seven in the tight loss at Lynchburg on Saturday. 

Chloe Tien, Pratt: Tien factored into two of Pratt's three goals in a 3-0 victory over Purchase College on Thursday. The sophomore forward opened the scoring in the 6th minute for what proved to be the game-winning goal on her lone shot of the contest. In the 40th minute, Tien served a corner kick into the box that was headed in for a 3-0 lead. Tien currently leads the league with five goals and three game-winners.

Elizabeth Giamboy, Saint Elizabeth: Giamboy had a historic week for the Eagles, picking up 28 saves against John Jay, capturing two top-five records. She is now tied fifth for most saves in a single game for the Eagles, and moved up to fifth all-time for career saves, with 164.
