LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week on Monday for the week ending on April 2nd. Marymount’s Jack Williams was named Player of the Week, while teammate Ben Cooper earned Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Brief Outlook of Week: On Saturday against Centenary, Williams scored one goal and added a school-record 12 assists for a total of 13 points, setting another program record in the process. After Saturday’s performance, Williams has 32 assists this season, setting another school record. He is third in program history with 64 assists, 13 away from setting a new standard. He now has 112 career points and is the 19th member of the 100-point club, reaching the milestone in just 25 career games.
Defensive Player of the Week:

Brief Outlook of Week: Cooper went 16-of-16 on faceoffs to become the third player since 2010 to finish with a perfect face-off percentage. He added seven ground balls to the win over Centenary to start conference play.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Dillon McManus (Sr., Attack, Cabrini): McManus scored five goals in Cabrini’s AEC opening win against Marwood. He added an assist for six points in the contest. The senior was 6-for-8 with shots on net and he collected
Anthony Inserra (Sr., Midfield, Immaculata): Inserra recorded six goals and four assists adding seven ground balls, and two caused turnovers in two games last week. He scored four goals vs. Rosemont on March 29th and recorded two goals and four assists vs. Gwynedd Mercy on April 1st.
