LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week on Monday as Marymount’s Gavin Taylorson and Gwynedd Mercy’s Reilly Owens earned Player of Defensive Player of the week honors respectively.

School: Marymount

Brief Outlook of Week: Taylorson tied two single-game records in leading Marymount to a 23-7 win over SUNY Delhi to open the season. The sophomore scored eight goals and registered 11 points to tie school records in both categories. Taylorson also added two caused turnovers and two groundballs in the contest.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Matthew Kirkland
School: Immaculata
Class: Senior
Position: Goalkeeper
Hometown: Millville, N.J.
High School: St. Augustine Prep
Brief Outlook of Week: Kirkland was strong in net for the Might Macs making 22 saves to lead them in their first game of the year.. In the match the senior gave up just six goals to lead Immaculata to the 14-6 win over SUNY Delhi.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Bailey Manion (So., Attack, Immaculata): Manion scored four goals and added three assists and two ground balls in the team’s 14-6 victory over SUNY Delhi on Saturday.
Dillion McManus (Sr., Atack, Cabrini): McManus started strong with five goals and two assists in the win over Haverford to start the season 1-0 for the Cavaliers.
