The Atlantic East Conference will present one male and one female student-athlete who combined superior academic and athletic achievement during their careers thus far. The successful candidate(s) must have competed in an Atlantic East-sponsored championship sport from a full-member institution.
CRITERIA:
- The student-athlete must be a junior or senior (according to athletic eligibility).
- Transfer student-athletes must have completed a full year in the Atlantic East Conference.
- The nominee must have a minimum of a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average.
- The nominee achieved academic, athletics, service, and leadership success.
- Nominee will submit 250 words or fewer personal statement how his/her experiences as a school, an athlete and a leader on his/her campus and community have influenced they life.
NOMINATION:
- Institutions may select two nominees if at least one of the nominees is a man/woman of color or international student-athlete.
- Institutions are not mandated to submit a nomination.
- Nominations must be submitted by a full-time institutional administrator (AD, SWA, SID, FAR, Etc.)
- Nominations must be submitted through the online awards portal on the Conference website
- Nominations will include:
- Name, Year, and Sport
- Academic Major (Minor, if applicable) and cumulative GPA
- Athletic Statistics (season and career)
- Athletic Honors and Awards (including team success)
- Academic Accomplishments, Honors, and Awards
- Service and Leadership Accomplishments
- 250 words or fewer personal statement how his/her experiences as a school, an athlete and a leader on his/her campus and community have influenced their life.

SELECTION:
- Athletic Directors will get two votes with their top vote receiving two points and their second vote receiving one point.
