Roey's Reflection On Time At Marymount:
"Being a student-athlete and a student leader was the best decision I made throughout my college career. Serving as a Residential Assistant for 3.5 years allowed me to grow as a leader and also made my experience at Marymount a lot more fun. Once I got involved as a student leader, I had the privilege to meet amazing new people, have a positive effect on my community, and serve as a role model and mentor for younger students. I took my leadership experiences off the court and applied them to my leadership roles on the court when I served as Marymount's Men's Basketball Team Captain during my junior and senior seasons. I continued to grow as a leader and player while serving as captain. I learned how difficult it is to be a good leader and the sacrifices that success entails. I'm grateful for all of the leadership experiences and lessons that I had during my 4 years at Marymount. I will take them with me wherever I go in my professional career."
Roey is an international student from Israel with a career lined up to work for Facebook in Dublin, Ireland.
