HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The 2026 Atlantic East Conference Softball Championship is set to begin on Saturday, May 2, with semifinal action taking place between seeds three and two, and one and four.
After semifinal play on Saturday, May 2, the championship will take place on Sunday, May 3. The winner of the championship will earn the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
The tournament seeding is as follows:
1. Marymount (11-1)
2. Neumann (7-5)
3. Marywood (7-5)
4. Saint Elizabeth (5-7)
First round action will begin on Saturday, April 2, as the fourth seed Eagles of Saint Elizabeth will head to top seeded Marymount to open their series. Starting off the other series will be the third seeded Pacers of Marywood, who will be considered the away team, taking on the Neumann Knights. With Marymount claiming the top spot, all games will be played at the Saints' home field.
Saturday, May 3 will be the deciding day, featuring the championship.
Marymount took home the championship in 2025, following a win by Centenary in 2024 after a two year streak by Cabrini.

Game 1: #1 Marymount vs. #4 Saint Elizabeth, 11am
Game 2: #Neumann vs. Marywood, 1pm
Game 3: Game 1 loser vs. Game 2 loser, 3pm (loser eliminated)
Game 4: Game 1 winner vs. Game 2 winner, 5pm
Sunday, May 3rd
Game 5: Game 3 winner vs. Game 4 loser, 12pm (loser eliminated)
Game 6: Game 4 winner vs. Game 5 winner, 2pm
Game 7: if necessary (switches home and away)
