HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men’s Lacrosse weekly award winners on Monday as Immaculata's Aaron Headley was named Player of the Week and Matthew Ludlow was named Defensive Player of the Week.
Player of the Week: Aaron Headley
School: Immaculata
Class: Freshman

Hometown: Ridley Park, Pa.
High School: Ridley
Brief Outlook of Week: Headley led Immaculata to a 2-0 week, totaling seven goals and two assists for nine points. He added three ground balls and two caused turnovers, making his presence felt on both ends of the field.
Defensive Player of the Week: Matthew Ludlow
School: Immaculata
Class: Senior
Position: Goalie
Hometown: Willow Grove, Pa.
High School: Upper Moreland
Brief Outlook of Week: Ludlow anchored Immaculata’s defense in a perfect 2-0 week, finishing with 28 total saves and nine ground balls across two wins. Ludlow opened the week with eight saves and three ground balls in a road win at Manhattanville, then delivered an even stronger performance with 20 saves and six ground balls in Saturday’s victory over King’s College.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Josh Devine, Gwynedd Mercy: Devine recorded four goals on a team-high 16 shots. He also provided two assists, while recovering four ground balls and causing three turnovers in the contest as Gwynedd won their third game in a row, their fifth in their last six contests, with a 10-2 victory over Delaware Valley.
Joe Oriold, Gwynedd Mercy: Oriold led the defense that shut the Aggies down in the second half; he finished the contest with six ground balls and four caused turnovers.
Santino Rossitto, Marymount: Rossitto put up five points on Saturday against Mary Washington, accounting for three goals and two assists on four shots for a .750 percentage.
Ben Meighan, Marywood: Meighan finished with three goals and two assists to lead Marywood to a 1-1 week. He had a four-point effort with three goals and an assist in a 10-4 win over Delaware Valley. Meighan scored on a pair of man-up goals and scooped up three ground balls. For the week, he finished with seven ground balls.
Mitchell Thompson, Marywood: Thompson provided nine caused turnovers and eight ground balls in a 1-1 week for the Pacers. In a 10-4 win over Delaware Valley, he totaled six caused turnovers and six ground balls. Thompson caused three turnovers along with two ground balls in a 13-6 loss to Penn College. The junior defender scored his first career goal in the victory against the Aggies.
