Marymount Sweeps First Men's Lacrosse Weekly Awards of 2026

HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men’s Lacrosse weekly award winners on Monday as Marymount’s Santino Rossitto was named Player of the Week and Winston Horshaw II of Marymount was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Player of the Week: Santino Rossitto
School: Marymount
Class: Junior
Position: Attack
Hometown: Dix Hills, N.Y.
High School: Half Hollow Hills East
Brief Outlook of Week: Rossitto put on a show in Marymount's dominant win over Methodist on Sunday. Sinking five goals and adding an assist, good for six points, the junior was the difference maker to help the Saints earn their first win of the season. Across the week of action, Rossitto racked up seven total points, adding two caused turnovers and four ground balls. 

Defensive Player of the Week: Winston Horshaw II
School: Marymount
Class: Sophomore
Position: Faceoff
Hometown: Harrisburg, Pa.
High School: Bishop McDevitt
Brief Outlook of Week: Horshaw II had an impressive start to his sophomore campaign, serving at the primary face off specialist for the Saints. Going 28-34 across both contests, securing an .824 average, the Harrisburg, Pa. native picked up 23 total ground balls. Horshaw was essential to maintaining offensive pressure for Marymount in their 14-5 dominant win over Methodist on Sunday. 


Weekly Honor Roll:
Gunnar Seaman, Gwynedd Mercy:
Seaman led the Griffins through their first two contests of the season with four goals and an assist. He also recorded five ground balls and one caused turnover. 

Colin Wolk, Immaculata: Wolk had five caused turnovers and one ground ball in his collegiate lacrosse debut for Immaculata in their season opener at Arcadia on Saturday.
