LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Tennis weekly award winner on Monday, as Pratt’s Beatrice Crespo and Women’s Player of the Week award
Women’s Player of the Week:
Name: Beatrice Crespo
School: Pratt Institute
Class: Sophomore
Hometown: Kearny, N.J.
High School: Saint Dominic Academy
Brief Outlook of Week: Beatrice Crespo highlighted Pratt's sweep of Immaculata on Sunday with a dominant 6-0, 6-0 straight-set win at No. 3 singles. She also teamed up with Alice Li for a 6-4 victory at No. 2 doubles. Pratt won their fourth-straight match with the win and improved to 3-0 in league play.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Faith Kendricks (5th, Marywood): Kendricks led Marywood to a 5-2 win over Marymount in Atlantic East competition. She won 4-6, 6-1, 10-7 in No. 3 singles. Kendricks teamed with McKenna Seavey for a 6-1 win in No. 3 doubles.
Casey McGee (Fy., Neumann): Casey McGee won both her singles and doubles matches in Neumann’s lone game of the week and did not give up a set. McGee and doubles partner Juliet Schilling won their third doubles match 6-0. The first year followed with a 6-0, 6-0 win at fifth singles in a 7-0 win at Bryn Athyn.
