LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Softball weekly award winners on Monday, as Immaculata’s Jess Oldham and Neumann’s Olivia Ammon won Player and Pitcher of the Week honors respectively.
Player of the Week:
Name: Jess Oldham
School: Immaculata University
Class: Fifth-Year
Position: Shortstop
Hometown: Wilmington, Del.
High School: A.I. Dupont
Brief Outlook of Week: Jess Oldham hit a combined .440 for the week going 11-25 at the plate, with six runs scored, and 13 RBIs in eight appeared in. She went 3-5 with three runs scored, and three RBIs in the first game, and 3-4 with one runs scored, and two RBIs in the second game of their doubleheader at Rutgers-Newark on March 26th. She went 2-5 with two runs scored and two RBIs in the first game, and 2-4 with two RBIs in game two of their AEC Doubleheader sweep at Marymount on Saturday.

Name: Olivia Ammon
School: Neumann University
Class: Senior
Hometown: Gap, Pa.
High School: Pequea Valley
Brief Outlook of Week: Olivia Ammon went the distance in the circle to pick up the Atlantic East opening win. In 7.0 innings, the senior allowed two unearned runs on five hits and struck out 10 in the 6-2 win over Centenary in a 2-2 overall week for Neumann, and 2-0 in conference play.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Jocelyn Baumeister (5th., Gwynedd Mercy): Gwynedd Mercy University won all three of Baumeister's starts as the Griffin fifth-year collected victories versus Penn State Abington, Rutgers-Camden, and AEC rival Marywood University. Overall, she totaled 21.2 innings with five appearances; she allowed seven earned runs on 20 hits and 12 walks, while striking out 20. Baumeister also went 6-for-21 (.286) with three runs and five runs-batted-in (RBI).
Brianna Voyer (Fr., Marywood): Voyer went 3-0 with a 2.33 ERA in three complete games. Voyer struck out 16 in 21 innings with a 1.33 WHIP. She limited Elmira to just an earned run to start the week. Voyer fanned eight to shut down Keystone. She capped the week by earning a win in her Atlantic East debut, holding Gwynedd Mercy to six hits and two earned runs. At the plate, she batted .500 for the week.
Madison Passanante (Sr., Centenary): Madison put on a offensive clinic for the Cyclones this week, she totaled 7 hits on the week including 4 Rbi's and a key Rbi in their win over Jersey City. She is hitting a crushing .438 batting average on the season and has been a continued offensive spark for the Cyclones. She had 2 doubles on the week to go with her 4 rbi's and 7 hits.
Shylynn Cordero (5th., Gwynedd Mercy): Cordero became second all-time in hits at Gwynedd Mercy University with 9-for-20 week that brought her career total to 157. She was 5-for-7 with a walk, a run, and a run-batted-in (RBI) in a split at Penn State Abington. Then, she went 2-for-6 with a walk and two runs in a split at Rutgers-Camden before going 2-for-7 with a walk and a two runs at home against the Pacers.
Riley Knott (Fr., Marywood): Over six games, Knott batted .500 with seven RBIs, five runs and two extra-base hits. She went 3 for 4 with two runs in a victory at Elmira. In a victory over Gwynedd Mercy, she was 2 for 4 with an RBI. Knott drove in three in a loss to the Griffins.
Alexis Palombi (So., Neumann): Alexis Palombi hit .429 (6-for-14) in a 2-2 overall week, 2-0 to open conference action. The sophomore hit two doubles and a triple while scoring three runs and knocking in two. In the doubleheader at Swarthmore, Palombi went 1-for-3 in each game. Against Centenary, she went 2-for-4 in each game. The sophomore scored three runs against the Cyclones, hit a double and a triple and knocked in two runs as the Knights won 6-2 and 5-0.
