Marymount's Vollmer, Immaculata's Szatkowski net Women's Flag Football Awards

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Flag Football weekly award winners on Monday, as Marymount’s Cara Vollmer and Immaculata’s Eliana Szatkowski won Player and Defensive Player of the Week honors respectively.

Brief Outlook of Week: Cara Vollmer led the offense for the Saints that took two against AEC opponents on Friday at Immaculata. Passing for 258 total yards across both games, Vollmer threw six total touchdowns without an interception.

Brief Outlook of Week: Eliana Szatkowski had a combined five tackles in Immaculata’s two games this week, and had an Interception that she returned 15 yards for a touchdown that would give Immaculata a 14-7 lead on their way to a 20-7 win over Eastern. Szatkowski play both offense and defense for Immaculata had a combined 3 receptions for 53 yards in Immaculata's two games including an 18-yard touchdown reception in the win over Eastern.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Cara Craig (So., Marymount):
Cara Craig collected six total tackles, five of them solo, across the Saints two wins on Friday evening at Immaculata over the Mighty Macs and Eastern.

Sydney Butcher (Fy., Immacuata): Sydney Butcher was a combined 9-15 passing for 104 yards, with one Touchdown pass. She also had 11 rushes for 39 yards. Butcher was 8-14 for 88 yards and threw an 18 yard Touchdown pass, and had 10 rushes for 33 yards in Immaculata's 20-7 win over Eastern on Friday evening.
