HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Soccer weekly award winners on Monday, with Marywood’s Caroline Walters receiving Player of the Week and receiving Immaculata’s Emily Guthier being awarded Defensive Player of the Week

Player of the Week: Caroline Walters
School: Marywood
Class: Senior
Position: Midfielder
Hometown: Springfield, Pa.
High School: Springfield
Brief Outlook of Week: Walters scored one goal and added four assists, totaling six points, in a pair of Atlantic East wins. The senior assisted the game winning goal, scored by her sister, before netting the insurance goal just 18 minutes in en route to the Pacers' 2-0 win over Gwynedd Mercy. Walters then dished out three assists in Marywood's 5-1 road win over Pratt.

Defensive Player of the Week: Emily Guthier
School: Immaculata
Class: Senior
Position: Goalkeeper
Hometown: Sewell, N.J.
High School: Washington Township
Brief Outlook of Week: Guthier had a strong week in goal for the Mighty Macs, totaling nine saves over two matches. She recorded four saves in a shutout performance during Immaculata’s 1-0 conference victory over Neumann on Wednesday before adding five more saves in the match against Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday to hold the Griffins to just one goal.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Nicole Alvarado, Marymount: Alvarado netted three goals for the Saints last week, including a pair in Marymount's dominant AEC win over Centenary to move to 4-1-0 in conference action. Her other goal came against a strong Washington College side that saw the Saints drop a close 3-2 contest.

Julianna Hatt, Neumann: Hatt scored two goals and tallied six shots in a 1-1 week for Neumann. The sophomore scored the game winning goal in the 11th minute of a 6-0 win at Saint Elizabeth. Hatt secured her brace and put the Knights up 4-0 in the 63rd minute.
