HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Soccer weekly award winners on Monday, as Gwynedd Mercy’s Drew Bark and Saint Elizabeth’s Elizabeth Giamboy won Player and Defensive Player of the Week honors respectively.
Player of the Week: Drew Bark
School: Gwynedd Mercy
Class: Freshman

Brief Outlook of Week: Bark had an outstanding week as she recorded the first points of her collegiate career, beginning with a hat trick in the Griffins' 4-0 win at Cedar Crest. She scored the game-winning goal, finding the back of the net in the ninth, 13th and 54th minutes. Over the weekend, she scored the opening goal in a 2-1 win over Cairn University.
Defensive Player of the Week: Elizabeth Giamboy
School: Saint Elizabeth
Class: Sophomore
Position: Defender
Hometown: Vineland, N.J.
High School: Our Lady of Mercy Academy
Brief Outlook of Week: Giamboy was the saving grace for the Eagles in a 1-1 week. The sophomore had a combined 25 saves on the week for the Eagles, beginning with six saves in a 4-1 win against Keystone. On the weekend, she recorded an impressive 19 saves against CCNY, averaging a .862 save percentage for the week.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Liliana Flores, Centenary: In a 1-1 week for the Cyclones, Flores tallied nine points. The senior tallied four goals and an assist in the 7-1 domination over Brooklyn, giving her nine goals in just six matches, totalling 19 points, on the season.
Britlyn Higgins, Marywood: Higgins and the Marywood defense held opponents to .5 goals per game in a pair of wins over Oswego State and Ramapo. She helped limit the Roadrunners to three shots on goal in a clean sheet. The graduate student scored a late goal in the 3-1 win against Oswego State.
Alyssa Trujillo, Pratt: Trujillo scored five goals, with one assist, as Pratt went unbeaten on the week at home, going 1-0-1. On Tuesday she recorded her first collegiate hat trick, scoring four goals with one assist in a dominant 14-0 win against neighborhood rivals St. Joseph's-Brooklyn. Against Penn State Abington, the sophomore forward scored the game-tying goal with 10 minutes remaining in regulation to lift the Cannoneers from a second-half, two-goal deficit to salvage a 3-3 draw.
