HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Soccer weekly award winners on Tuesday, as Marywood’s Carly Walters and Marymount’s Mara DuFour won Player and Defensive Player of the Week honors respectively.

Brief Outlook of Week: Walters had four goals and an assist for nine points in a pair of wins for the Pacers. She had a win in a 4-0 decision over SUNY Poly. Walters had a hat trick plus an assist in a 10-1 win against Goucher. She secured her third goal on an assist from her twin sister Caroline in the 56th minute. It was her 50th career point.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Mara DuFour
School: Marymount
Class: Sophomore
Position: Goalkeeper
Hometown: Ashburn, Va.
High School: Broad Run
Brief Outlook of Week: Sophomore Mara DuFour put up a shutout in the net for the Saints in their season-opening win over Shenandoah University on Friday afternoon. The Ashburn, Va. native swatted away 11 saves, including key ones down the stretch to maintain the lead, to give Marymount their first win over the Hornets since 2008.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Nicole Alvarado, Marymount: In Marymount's season-opener at home, the reigning AEC Rookie of the Year came through for the Saints. Sinking her first goal of the season in the 68th minute in the upper left corner, it would prove to be enough as Marymount went on to take down the Hornets of Shenandoah University 1-0.
Rebecca Gordon, Gwynedd Mercy: Gordon ensured a win in the Griffins' 2025 season opener with a goal (3-0, 47:09) and an assist (Bradley; 4-0, 58:11) in Gwynedd Mercy University's 4-0 win at the University of Valley Forge.
Emily Guthier, Immaculata: Guthier made three saves, on seven shots faced in helping lead Immaculata to a season opening 1-1 draw at Alvernia on Sunday.
Britlyn Higgins, Marywood: Higgins' defense help the Pacers outscore opponents 14-1 in two games. She had the game-winning goal in the 19th minute in a 4-0 shutout over SUNY Poly. Higgins helped hold Goucher to four shots.
Gracie Repici, Immaculata: Repici scored her first collegiate goal in her college debut to help lead Immaculata to a 1-1 draw at Alvernia in the Mighty Macs season opener. Repici had three shots, including two on goal, to lead the Immaculata attack.
