LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Lacrosse weekly award winners on Monday, as Centenary’s Nora Dornich earned Player and Marymount’s Hannah Smith earned Defensive Player of the week honors respectively.

School: Centenary

Brief Outlook of Week: Dornich paced the Cyclones with eight goals and one assist in the 1-0 week for Centenary. Against Old Westbury she had four ground balls, two caused turn overs and four draw controls to help the Cyclones to the 12-4 victory.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Hannah Smith
School: Marymount
Class: Junior
Position: Goalkeeper
Hometown: Wilmington, N.C.
High School: EA Laney
Brief Outlook of Week: Smith, in the Saints' 11-6 win over Hood on Saturday, was a wall in the net. Swatting away a career-high 15 total saves, the junior goalkeeper earned the win, while adding a caused turnover and a ground ball to her credit.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Caroline Gallagher (Sr., Defense, Cabrini): Gallagher aided the Cavaliers back line with 3 caused turnovers, 2 ground balls, and 2 defensive clears against Widener. She also scored a short-handed, weak-handed goal to interrupt the Pride's momentous fourth quarter comeback.
Arayla Garcia (Jr., Attack, Marymount): Arayla Garcia posted four goals alongside two draw controls in the Saints' win over Hood on Saturday. She was a perfect 2-2 from the free position.
Tessa Liberatoscioli (Sr., Midfield, Immaculata): Tessa Liberatoscioli scored three goals, had two assists, collected five ground balls, had three caused turnovers, and had four draw controls in leading Immaculata to their fourth consecutive win defeating Notre Dame of Maryland University on March 10th.
