Gwynedd Mercy's Eagan, Immaculata's Liberatoscioli win Women's Basketball Weekly Awards

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women's Basketball weekly award winners on Monday, as Gwynedd Mercy's Alexis Eagan and Immaculata's Tessa Liberatoscioli won Player and Defensive Player of the Week honors respectively.

Player of the Week:
Name: Alexis Eagan
School: Gwynedd Mercy
Class: Senior
Position: Forward
Hometown: Drexei Hill, Pa.      
High School: Bonner & Prendergast Catholic
Brief Outlook of Week: Eagan played a major role in a 59-56 victory over the King's College (Pa.) with a game-high 17 points, eight rebounds, an assist, and a steal. She was 5-of-11 (.455) from the field with three (3-of-4, .750) three-point baskets, and she hit all four (4-of-4, 1.000) of her free throws against the Monarchs. 

Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Tessa Liberatoscioli
School: Immaculata
Class: Senior
Position: Guard
Hometown: Malvern, Pa.  
High School: Great Valley
Brief Outlook of Week: Tessa Liberatorscioli had a combined five rebounds, one blocked shot, and eight steals to go along with scoring 21 points over two games for Immaculata. Liberatoscioli had three rebounds and five steals to go along with 14 points in Immaculata's win over Penn State Berks on November 20th. She had two rebounds and three steals to go along with seven points in Immaculata's win over Keystone College on November 23rd. 
 
Weekly Honor Roll:
Reese Mullins (Sr., Immaculata): Reese Mullins had a combined 35 points shooting 61% (11-18) from the field, 2-4 from behind the arc, with 16 rebounds over two games for Immaculata. Mullins scored 18 points shooting 6-10 from the field, with eight rebounds and one steal in Immaculata's win over Penn State Berks on November 20th. She scored 17 points, shooting 5-8 from the field, with eight rebounds in Immaculata's win over Keystone College on November 23rd. Mullins has scored double figures in five out of six games this season.
 
Kaylah Barr (Fy., Marymount): First-year Kaylah Barr averaged 10.0 points per game across the Saints' 1-2 week. Posting 30 total points, Barr added 10 rebounds, six assists, and a pair of steals to her line. In the championship game of the Pablo Coto Tournament on Saturday afternoon, she dropped 14 points against #15 Gettysburg.
 
Olivia Ciullo (Sr., Marywood): Ciullo averaged 15.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game to lead the Pacers to their fourth straight win with victories over Keystone and Cairn. She made 60 percent of her shots from the floor. Ciullo scored 20 points to down the Giants. The Old Forge, Pa. native added 15 points in just 21 minutes on the court to defeat the Highlanders. 
 
Lauren Klieber (Sr., Neumann): Lauren Klieber averaged 22.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per game in a 2-1 week for the Knights. In a 72-68 overtime win at Albright, the senior netted 18 points and nine rebounds. She followed with 24 points and five rebounds in a 59-51 win over Haverford. To wrap up the week, Klieber tallied 26 points and nine boards in a 73-69 loss to Penn State Abington. 
 
Erin Eisenhart (Jr., Gwynedd Mercy): Eisenhart made five steals, grabbed seven rebounds, and scored seven points to help the Griffins to a 59-56 victory over King's College (Pa.). Gwynedd Mercy University forced 13 turnovers and scored a dozen (12) fast break points against the Monarchs.
 
Samantha Bulik (Sr., Marymount): Senior point guard Samantha Bulik nabbed five total steals across the Saints three contests last week with a block and 11 defensive boards. Dropping 5.0 points per game, she added nine total assists to her credit. 
 
Emily DuPont (Sr., Neumann): Emily DuPont 17.7 points and 10.0 rebounds in a 2-1 week for Neumann. In a 72-68 overtime win against Albright, DuPont notched a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Against Haverford, the senior 18 points and eight boards in a 59-51 win. DuPont finished the week with 21 points and nine rebounds in a 73-69 loss to Penn State Abington.
