Centenary's Davis, Elsbree net Women's Basketball Weekly Awards

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Basketball weekly award winners on Monday, as Centenary’s Vatijah Davis and Kaylie Elsbree won Player and Defensive Player of the Week honors respectively.

Player of the Week:
Name: Vatijah Davis
School: Centenary

Position: Forward
Hometown: Poconos, Pa.      
High School: Poconos Mountain West
Brief Outlook of Week: Davis had a dominant week for the Cyclones recording three consecutive double-doubles in three games. On the week, Davis scored a total of 63 points, thirty-eight rebounds, four steals, and two blocks. Against Spalding University, Davis posted a season-high twenty-nine points. Her contributions in the Keystone Tip-Off Tournament earned her Tournament MVP, and All - Tournament Team Honors.

Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Kaylie Elsbree
School: Centenary
Class: Senior
Position: Guard
Hometown: Howell, N.J.
High School: Freehold Township
Brief Outlook of Week: Elsbree had a dominant week defensively, posting a total of seven steals, ten rebounds, and three blocks across three games for the Cyclones. Elsbree also made several key stops in the Keystone Tip-Off Tournament which earned her All - Tournament honors over the weekend. 
 
Weekly Honor Roll:
Emily DuPont (Sr., Neumann): Emily DuPont averaged 17.5 points per game in a 2-0 week for Neumann. In an 83-51 win over Penn State Brandywine, DuPont tallied 13 points and four rebounds. She followed with 22 points and six rebounds in a 72-68 overtime win at Ursinus. 
 
Alexis Eagan (Sr., Gwynedd Mercy): Eagan continues to quietly lead the Griffins with her consistency. This week, the senior forward offered 13 points, 9 rebounds, an assist, a block, and 2 steals to a Battle of 309 loss to Arcadia University, before recording her third double-double - 16 points and 10 rebounds - of the season in a 80-74 victory over Delaware Valley University.
 
Reese Mullins (Sr., Immaculata): Reese Mullins had a combined 46 points, with 22 rebounds, and four steals over three games for Immaculata. She had a double-double on November 11th vs Moravian with 13 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, and a steal. She led Immaculata to a win over Haverford on November 13th with 24 points, five rebounds, two assists, and a steal, and helped Immaculata to a win over McDaniel on November 16th with nine points, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
 
Kaylah Barr (Fy., Marymount): Helping the Saints to a 1-1 week, including a win at home on Tuesday, first-year Kaylah Barr came into her own. Averaging 12.5 points per game, she grabbed eight total boards with two steals and an assist across the week. She had 13 points in the win over Lynchburg on Tuesday on 40% shooting from the floor.
 
Megan Cavoil (Jr., Marywood): Cavoli averaged 15 points and seven assists per game in the Pacers' wins over Juniata and Rutgers-Newark. In the win over the Eagles, Cavoli scored a career-high 18 points with six assists and six rebounds. She flirted with a double-double in a 12 point, eight assist performance against the Scarlet Raptors. She was perfect from the free-throw line on all eight attempts for the week. 
 
Kailyn Bell (Fr., Gwynedd Mercy): Getting comfortable in the Gwynedd Mercy University backcourt, Bell was able to turn defense into offense with 17 points, 3 rebounds, an assist, and 3 steals in a Battle of 309 loss to Arcadia University, and 10 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and two steals in an 80-74 win over Delaware Valley University.
 
Carly Coleman (Fr., Immaculata): Carly Coleman had a combined 28 rebounds, three blocked shots, and eight steals, to go along with 26 points and five assists over three games this week. She had a double-double vs Moravian on November 11th with 13 rebounds, 10 points, two blocked shots, and a steal. She helped Immaculata defeat Haverford on November 13th with eight rebounds, one blocked shot, four steals, and 11 points. She helped Immaculata defeat McDaniel on November 16th with seven rebounds, three steals, and five points.
 
Ava Achtyl (Sr., Marymount): Senior Ava Actyl played a key role in the Saints' week, helping them to a big home win on Tuesday over Lynchburg. Pulling down 11 defensive boards, she played a large role in keeping the offensive momentum going for MU. Across the week, she had 15 total rebounds and averaged 10.0 points per game. 
 
Olivia Ciullo (Sr., Marywood): Ciullo averaged a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds in a pair of wins at the Insalaco Arena. She collected 14 rebounds in a 63-53 win over Juniata. Ciullo added eight rebounds in a win over Rutgers-Newark. For the week, she had five steals. 
 
Lauren Klieber (Sr., Neumann): Lauren Klieber averaged 20.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week for Neumann. In an 83-51 win over Penn State Brandywine, Klieber finished with 23 points and six boards. In an overtime win at Ursinus, the senior had 18 points and eight rebounds.
