LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men’s Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week for the week ending, January 21^st, with St. Mary’s Luke Schwenk taking his sixth honor of the season.

Athlete of the Week:
Name: Luke Schwenk
School: St. Mary’s
Class: Junior
Hometown: Annapolis, Md.
High School: Broadneck
Brief Outlook of Week: Schwenk notched two of the Seahawks' three wins against Marymount, touching the wall first in the 200 freestyle in 1:46.98 and coming in first in the 100 freestyle in 45.95. Schwenk also anchored the second-place 200-freestyle relay.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Matt Seifried (Sr., Cabrini): Seifried earned a pair of individual wins, touching the wall first in the 400-yd individual medley (4:31.10) and 100-yd freestyle (50.98) in a tri-meet with Marywood and Gallaudet. Seifried was also part of two winning relays where he split 26.61 as the butterfly leg of the 200-yd medley and gave Cabrini the lead as the first leg of the 200-yd freestyle (23.74 split).
