St. Mary's Schwenk Tabbed First Swimmer of the Week of the Season

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men’s Swimmer of the Week for the week ending, October 15th. St. Mary’s Luke Schwenk earned the first weekly honor of the year.

Brief Outlook of Week: Schwenk notched two individual wins and was the lead swimmer on the winning 200 medley relay. Schwenk led a 1-2 finish in the 200 freestyle, winning the event in 1:45.11 to rank ninth all-time at St. Mary's. He then captured the 100 freestyle in 46.23 to rank second all-time in school history. St. Mary's (2-0) earned a 122-73 triumph over Randolph (3-1) and a 123-63 victory over host Virginia Wesleyan (0-2).
