Caspar, Pazzaglia Headline Men's Golf All-Conference Teams

Lancaster, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the 2022 Men's Golf Major Award Winners and All-Conference teams on Monday afternoon. Six teams participated in the two-day championship hosted by Cabrini University at White Manor Country Club.

Cabrini University's Sean Caspar headlined as Player of the Year after claiming the top spot at the championship with a two-day score of 154 (+12). This is the junior's second time winning the Player of the Year accolade. Caspar's teammate, Dan Murphy, also shot a two-day score of 154 but Caspar was deemed the champion after a tiebreaker. 

Marywood University's Franco Pazzaglia earned Rookie of the Year after shooting a two-day score of 158 (+16). Pazzaglia helped the Pacers to a runner-up finish at the championship.

Cabrini University was also awarded Coaching Staff of the Year as voted on by the coaches of the conference.

Lastly, the Atlantic East Elite 20 award winner for men's golf, which is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average competing at the finals site at each of the Atlantic East's 20 team championships, is Lucas Flederbach of Marywood University. Flederbach, a member of runner-up Marywood, maintains a cumulative 3.77 GPA as a business management major.
