Marymount Travels to the NCAA Men's Golf Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS – 2024 Atlantic East Men’s Golf Champion Marymount will travel to Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada for the 2024 NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championship.

The Saints were one of 43 teams selected into this year’s field, which was announced on Monday (May 6) afternoon during the NCAA.com press release. Marymount earned a tournament bid as an automatic qualifier along with 34 from other conferences. One team was selected from Pool B while the other eight in the field were at large selections from Pool C. In addition, there will be six individuals not on one of the teams selected joining the field and competing individually.

Marymount has a low round of 312 from the Cardinal Spring Classic. They are led by Roger Sauvage who has the low round on the team this season with a 74 in the first round of the Marlins Invitational. Atlantic East Conference Golfer of the Year Chase Manion had a low round of 75 twice this season, including day one of the league championship. Jackson Newton also carded a best round of 75 this season, while Cameron Dawkins and Jonas Zajicek both sit with a best round of 77 this season.

After 36 holes the field will be cut to the top 18 teams and top six individuals not on those teams. There are a total of 221 participants in the tournament. The tournament will begin on May 14th and continue through the cut phase to finish on May 17th.
