LANCASTER, Pa. - Marywood women's soccer sweeps Atlantic East weekly awards. Sophomore forward Riley Mulherin earned offensive player of the week, while teammate Sarah Kretchmer was selected as defensive player of the week. 
Offensive Player of the Week:
Name: Riley Mulherin
School: Marywood
Class: Sophomore
Position: Forward
Hometown: Clarks Summit, Pa.
High School: Abington Heights
Brief Outlook: Mulherin led the Pacers to a pair of Atlantic East wins with two goals and two assists for six points. She had two goals and an assist in Marywood's victory over Gwynedd Mercy. Mulherin supplied the game-winning assist to Kate Kollar-Dye in the 66th minute of a 1-0 victory over Marymount.

Name: Sarah Kretchmer
School: Marywood
Class: Freshman

Hometown: Hilton, N. Y.
High School: Aquinas Institute of Rochester
Brief Outlook: Kretchmer marshaled the Pacers' defense to a pair of shutouts in Atlantic East competition. The freshman center back held teams to a combined three shots on goal in two games. In the Pacers' win over Gwynedd Mercy, Kretchmer's defensive unit held the Griffins without a shot.
 
Weekly Honor Roll:
Caroline Hassall (Cabrini, GK): Hassall tallied three saves in two clean sheets last week.

Leona Macrina (Nuemann, So, GK): Macrina picked up two wins in net for the Knights. Neumann went 2-0 in conference play last week. In a 4-2 win over Immacualta Tuesday, the sophomore made four saves. She followed with two saves in a 5-0 combined shutout win at Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday.

Kaitlin Thomas (Nuemann, Gr. F): Kaitlin Thomas had a goal and two assists as Neumann picked up a pair of conference wins last week. In a 4-2 win over Immaculata on Tuesday, the graduate student handed out two assists. Thomas was also fouled in the box that led to a penalty kick goal by the Knights. On Saturday, Thomas scored the game-winning goal in a 4-0 win at Gwynedd Mercy.?
