LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women's Soccer weekly awards on Monday, naming Gwynedd Mercy's Bethany Beinlich the offensive player of the week and Cabrini's Caroline Hassall the defensive player of the week.
Offensive Player of the Week:
Name: Bethany Beinlich
School: Gwynedd Mercy University
Class: Freshman

Brief Outlook of Week: Beinlich totaled 13 points this week as she provided the Griffins a goal in a 4-2 win over Penn State Brandywine, three goals and an assist in a 6-0 win over Valley Forge University, and both goals of a 2-2 tie at Clarks Summit University.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Caroline Hassall
School: Cabrini University

Brief Outlook of Week: Hassall had two clean sheets this week versus Eastern and Juniata. 3 saves against EU and 1 against JU.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Rebekah Cunningham (Cabrini / JR / M): Cunningham scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Eastern.
Madisson Ronn (Gwynedd Mercy / FR / GK): Ronn picked up a win and a tie this week as she earned a shutout versus the University of Valley Forge (W, 6-0) and a tie against Clarks Summit University (T, 1-1). She made ten saves in the second half of the 2-2 stalemate with the Defenders.
Victoria Tzitzis (Marywood / JR / F): Tzitzis led the Pacers offensively to an 0-1-1 week against Eastern and #10 Scranton. She broke open a scoreless tie with a goal during a 1-1 draw against the Eagles. Tzitzis stole a pass and beat an Eastern defender and keeper before delivering her fourth goal of the season into an open net.
