Spence, Hassall Earn Women's Soccer Weekly Honors

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women's Soccer weekly awards on Monday, naming Neumann's Rebecca Spence the offensive player of the week and Cabrini's Caroline Hassall the defensive player of the week.

Offensive Player of the Week:

Brief Outlook of Week: Rebecca Spence scored a goal and added three assists in a 2-1 week for the Knights. In the Atlantic East opener at Marymount, Spence scored the eventual game-winning goal and added an assist. In the win over Washington Adventist, the senior had two assists in the win.

Defensive Player of the Week:

School: Cabrini University

Brief Outlook of Week: Three clean sheets on the week (13 saves) and four saves in a 1-0 win over FDU-Florham. Three saves against Alvernia and four against LBC.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Josephine Sorce (Marywood/ SO / M): Sorce had two goals and two assists to lift Marywood to a pair of victories. She had a goal and an assist in a 3-1 comeback win over Wilkes. Sorce's corner kick assisted a Brooke Longstreet equalizer in the 26th minute. She added an insurance goal in the 64th minute. Sorce had a goal and an assist in the first two goals of the game in a 7-0 shutout against Cazenovia.

Ella Marrollo (Cabrini / JR / M/F): Factored in all three goals this week - including the main assist in Cabrini's 1-0 win over FDU-Florham, who was previously undefeated. Scored a goal against Lancaster Bible and had the game-winning goal in the 1-0 win over Alvernia

Lillana Flores (Centenary / FR / F): Flores' first career hat trick came at the perfect time as it helped the Cyclones to a 7-3 win over Pratt in their only game of the week. She took seven shots in the game, put four on goal and scored on three of the four. Flores got the scoring started early for the Cyclones as she connected on her first just 2:18 into the contest. She went on to add back-to-back tallies in the second half to complete the hat trick.

Rebekah Becker (Marywood / JR / GK): Becker helped Marywood to a pair of wins, allowing one goal in 154 minutes. She made nine saves in a 3-1 win over Wilkes. Becker teamed with Mila Elash for a combined clean sheet against Cazenovia
