LANCASTER, Pa. – Commissioner Jessica Huntley and the Atlantic East Conference is proud to announce another affiliate addition to the league, welcoming New Jersey City University as an associate member in men’s and women’s golf, effective Fall 2021.
“We are thrilled to welcome New Jersey City University to the conference,” said Huntley. “Advancing the sport of golf in our conference will only enhance the student-athlete experience and we are confident New Jersey City is the perfect addition.”
"I know I speak for all of my student-athletes when I say thank you to commissioner Jessica Huntley and the rest of the Atlantic East Conference for granting us admission as affiliate members," said Joe Yeck, NJCU's head men's and women's golf coach. "We believe that the Atlantic East is the right place for the Gothic Knights and our young golf programs to prosper. We look forward to competing against some strong opponents on beautiful courses in the Northeast as our men and women look to join their NJCU peers as championship contenders."
New Jersey City University, currently a member of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) will join Cabrini University, Marymount University, Marywood University, Neumann University and William Paterson University as participating members in men’s and women’s golf. The Gothic Knights will be immediately eligible for All-Conference awards and the conference’s golf championships.

As we continue to establish ourselves as championship-caliber competitors in many of our other varsity programs, we believe that Gothic Knights golf will prosper with the Atlantic East.
