LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women's Soccer Player of the Week honors on Monday afternoon, as Marywood University's Jackie VonItter earned Offensive Player of the Week and Immaculata University's Brooke Shissler grabbed her second Defensive Player of the Week of the season.

Offensive Player of the Week:
Name: Jackie VonItter
School: Marywood University
Class: Senior
Position: Midfielder
Hometown: Dunellen, N.J.
High School: Dunellen
Brief Outlook of Week: VonItter led Marywood to a 2-0 week (1-0 AEC) and a pair of 3-0 wins over John Jay and Neumann with a goal and two assists. On the road against the Greyhounds, VonItter assisted on two player-down goals for the Pacers as the played a player short for the final 29 minutes of the game. In their AEC opener Saturday, VonItter scored the game-winner against the Knights on a breakaway midway through the first half. 

Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Brooke Shissler
School: Immaculata University
Class: Sophomore
Position: Goalkeeper
Hometown: Huntingdon Valley, Pa.
High School: St. Basil Academy
Brief Outlook of Week: Shissler had an outstanding week in goal registering three shutouts en route to a 2-0-1 week that saw the Macs close out non-conference play with a win before opening conference play with a record of 1-0-1. On Monday afternoon, Shissler led the Macs to a narrow 1-0 victory over Goucher to close out league play making nine big saves en route to the victory before registering a pair of strong saves in the Macs victory over Marymount on Wednesday evening. On Saturday, Shissler was instrumental in helping the Macs extend their three-game unbeaten streak vs Cabrini as she made 14 solid saves to help lead Immaculata to the 0-0 draw with Cabrini on Saturday. For her career, Shissler has played 310 minutes of soccer against rival Cabrini, and the sophomore has surrendered just one goal over the course of that span of minutes.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Bridget McDonough (Immaculata / Freshman / Forward): McDonough scored the game-winning goal at Marymount on Wednesday evening in the 81st minute in what was arguably the biggest goal of McDonough’s young career at Immaculata. 

Karen Reyes (Marymount / Senior / Forward): Reyes scored the game-winning goal for Marymount in its 2-1 victory over Gwynedd Mercy for the team's first Atlantic East win of the season. The Saints came back from down one in the second half, as Reyes netted her score at the 53:46 mark for the deciding tally.

Madison Daches (Marywood / Graduate / Defender): Daches led the Pacers to a pair of 3-0 shutout wins, tallying 180 minutes of action on the week. Playing a man-down for the final 29 minutes Monday, Daches anchored a back line that limited John Jay to just one shot in the second half, and none with only 10 players on the field. Saturday, Daches anchored the Pacers' midfield and notched her first goal of the season on a rebound after a corner kick to provide the Pacers the middle goal in a 3-0 win over Neumann. 

Kiyanna Gill (Wesley / Sophomore / Goalkeeper): Gill turned away all nine shots she faced in a 1-0 victory over Gwynedd Mercy, helping the Wolverines to a 1-0 start to league play.
