Reyes, Tutzauer Earn Women's Soccer Weekly Accolades
LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women's Soccer Player of the Week honors on Monday afternoon, as Marymount University's Karen Reyes earned Offensive Player of the Week and Cabrini University's Ashley Tutzauer gathered Defensive Player of the Week.

Brief Outlook of Week: Reyes found the back of the net three times this week to help the Saints to two wins over Gallaudet, 8-2, and William Peace, 3-0. Her six points tied for a team high for the week. She netted two goals against the Bison and one against the Pacers. With eight shots between the two games, she finished with a .375 shooting percentage, while adding one game-winning goal.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Ashley Tutzauer
School: Cabrini University
Class: Junior
Position: Goalkeeper
Hometown: Toms River, N.J.
High School: Toms River North
Brief Outlook of Week: Tutzauer anchored a Cavalier defense that allowed just one goal in two matches this week, including a 2-1 overtime victory over PSU Abington as well as a 2-0 shutout of Montclair State. In total, the junior netminder faced 15 shots and recorded four saves. She also added her fourth shutout of the season in the Cavs' aforementioned victory over the Red Hawks. The Cabrini defense has allowed more than one goal just one time this season.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Kaitlin Thomas (Neumann / Sophomore / Forward): Thomas scored two goals in a 5-2 win over Keystone in the lone game of the week for the Knights. The sophomore tallied five shots, four on net, in the win.
Mackenzie Forsythe (Wesley / Senior / Forward): Forsythe scored two goals in the Wolverines' win over Goucher, scoring both on her only two shots of the game.
