Centenary's Morales and Immaculata's Greppellini Receive Men's Soccer Weekly Award Honors

HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men’s Soccer weekly award winners on Monday, with Centenary’s Brandon Morales being named Player of the Week and Immaculata’s Luca Greppellini being named Defensive Player of the Week.

School: Centenary
Class: Senior
Position: Midfield
Hometown: Wharton, N.J.
High School: Morris Hills
Brief Outlook of Week: Morales led the Cyclones to a 1-1-1 week as he recorded two goals. Against Keystone, he scored the game winning goal to take home all three points on the road, followed by the Cyclones lone goal in a 1-1 draw against CCNY. He finished the week with four points across 229 minutes played. 

Defensive Player of the Week: Luca Greppellini
School: Immaculata
Class: Sophomore
Position: Goalkeeper
Hometown: Newbury, England
High School: Leighton Park School
Brief Outlook of Week: delivered a strong opening week for Immaculata, making 13 saves across two starts against Haverford and Elizabethtown. Greppellini made six saves in the season opener against Haverford, facing 10 shots on goal, before turning aside seven shots in 42:31 of action at Elizabethtown. Across the two contests, Greppellini faced 43 total shots and 22 shots on goal, recording 13 saves.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Gunnar Christensen, Gwynedd Mercy: Christensen scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Keystone College. He helped the Griffins to a 1-1 week.

Erick Shoetter-Rojas, Marymount: Shoetter-Rojas notched the first goal of the season for the Saints in Friday night's draw against North Carolina Wesleyan, sinking a free kick ripper in the upper left corner, as Marymount recorded one draw and two losses in the opening week of play.

Lucca Novi, Pratt: Novi scored in the 89th minute his first collegiate goal to break a scoreless deadlock and lift Pratt to a 1-0 victory over SUNY Cobleskill in their home opener on Friday.

Brandon Quishpi, Saint Elizabeth: Quishpi scored the game-tying goal for the Eagles in a 1-1 draw with Hunter.
