Marymount captures third straight AEC Men's Swimming title

ST. MARY’S CITY, Md. – Marymount University secured its third straight Atlantic East Conference Men’s Swimming Championship on Sunday night, finishing the four-day championship with 917 points.

Host Saint Mary’s College of Maryland was second with 825 points while Immaculata University was third with 273 points. Marywood University was fourth at 264 points followed by Gallaudet in fifth at 227 points.

Nathan Bruley won the 200 back for the Saints, taking the event with a meet and conference record at 1:53.48. Teammate Garret Peck was second at 1:58.28.

Alex Hain won the 200 fly with a time of 1:55.94.

Finally, the team of Luke Claudy, Ryan Faherty, Hain and Carsten Hicks won the 400 free relay at 3:08.13.
