HADDONFIELD, N.J. – No. 4 Neumann advanced to the Atlantic East Conference semifinals with a 3-2 win against #5 Centenary, on Tuesday night, in the first round of the tournament.

Centenary took a commanding lead, winning the first set 25-19. Neumann won the second set in much closer fashion, 26-24, before taking the third set by an astoundiing 25-7, to go up 2-1. With the game on the line, the Cyclones managed to win the fourth set 25-19, leaving it all down to the final set. Ultimately, Neumann came away victorious after recording a 15-11 win in the fifth set.

The Knights now advance to the Atlantic East Semifinals, and will travel to top seed Marymount on Thursday, November 13. The other semifinal will feature No. 3 Immaculata traveling to No. 2 Marywood. The winners will advance to the conference championship on Saturday, November 15 at the highest remaining seed. The conference champion will earn the conference’s automatic qualifier into the 2025 NCAA DIII Women’s Volleyball Championship.
