LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men’s Basketball weekly award winners on Monday, as Immaculata’s Mandon Seapoe and John Flood won Player and Defensive Player of the Week honors respectively.
Player of the Week:
Name: Mandon Seapoe
School: Immaculata University
Class: Sophomore
Position: Guard
Hometown: Upper Darby, Pa.
High School: First Coast Christian
Brief Outlook of Week: Mandon Seapoe scored a combined 44 points shooting 68% (17-25) from the field and was 2-for-3 from behind the arc, with nine rebounds, five assists, and five steals over two games to lead Immaculata to a pair of wins. He led all-scorers with 19 points shooting 8-for-11 from the field, with seven rebounds, four assists, and one steal in Immaculata’s win at Bryn Athyn on December 2nd. Seapoe led all scorers with a career-best 25 points, with two rebounds, one assist, and four steals in the Mighty Macs' win over Delaware Valley on December 4th. With Immaculata trailing 58-56, Seapoe hit a three-pointer with 1:11 remaining to put Immaculata ahead. Seapoe increased the lead to 63-58 with a pair of free throws with 0:15 remaining to help Immaculata win.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: John Flood
School: Immaculata University

Brief Outlook of Week: John Flood had a combined 13 rebounds, with one blocked shot, and four steals to go along with 12 points in helping Immaculata to a pair of wins over their two games. Flood had six rebounds, to go along with scoring four points in Immaculata’s win at Bryn Athyn on December 2nd. Flood had seven rebounds, one blocked shot and four steals in Immaculata’s win over Delaware Valley on December 4th. With Immaculata holding a 61-58 lead, Flood got an important steal with 0:20 remaining and called an immediate timeout. When Del Val cut the lead to 63-61, Flood got a rebound off the missed front end of the one-and-one with 0:05 remaining, he was fouled and closed out the win by hitting a pair of free throws for the Mighty Macs.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Marcus Stubbs (5th., Marymount): In the Saints' win over Muhlenberg on Saturday, Stubbs posted a team-high 23 points on 8-14 shooting from the field, 5-9 from beyond the arc. Adding four rebounds, three steals, and a pair of assists, the fifth-year guard helped MU get back in the winning column with a decisive win over the Mules.
Aquil Stewart (Sr., Gwynedd Mercy): Stewart continued to serve as the Griffins steady rudder with two solid performances in wins over Alvernia University and Penn State Abington. He recorded 16 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals in a 91-90 overtime win against the Golden Wolves, then offered 12 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal in a 40-point victory over the Nittany Lions. He averaged 14 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1.5 steals per game to help keep the Red and Gold perfect for 2024.
Collin Himmelberg (Jr., Marywood): Himmelberg averaged 19.5 points per game to lead Marywood to a 1-1 week. He nearly single-handedly took the Pacers on his back for a comeback win over King's, scoring career highs of 24 points and nine rebounds. The Chapel Hill, N.C. native hit a 3-pointer with one second remaining in regulation to force overtime. Himmelberg then hit a game-tying long-distance shot with 2:22 remaining. He scored 15 points over the final two regulation minutes plus overtime. Himmelberg also scored 15 points in a loss to No. 10 NYU earlier in the week. For the week, he shot .631 from the field and .750 (9 for 12) from 3-point range.
Bryan Etienne (Jr. Neumann): In three games, Bryan Etienne averaged 14.3 points and 6.7 rebounds in a 2-1 week for the Knights. He week high was 22 points and nine rebounds in an 85-79 win at Haverford. In an 83-69 win over Eastern, the junior scored 12 points and seven boards. In the 84-68 loss to Franklin & Marshall, Etienne tallied nine points and four rebounds.
Darnelle Forrest (So., Centenary): Darnelle Forrest had a solid week on the defensive side of the ball. The second year guard recorded seven steals including a six steal game against Sarah Lawrence over the weekend. On the glass, Forrest came down with seven rebounds across both games.
Mike Marable (Sr., Gwynedd Mercy): Marable did the dirty work in a pair of wins as he recorded 12 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 blocks, and 4 steals in a 91-90 overtime win at Alvernia University and 8 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 blocks in a 40-point win, 101-61, at Penn State Abington. He averaged 10 points, 7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.5 blocks, and 2 steals per game against the Golden Wolves and Nittany Lions.
Isaac Harris (Jr., Marymount): Junior guard Harris nabbed six defensive boards with a steal and three assists on top of his 13 points in Saturday's win over Muhlenberg, putting the Saints at 6-3 on the season.
