LANCASTER, Pa. – At the end of the 2022-23 year, Marymount wins its first Mike Drass and Men’s and Women’s Commissioner’s Trophies.

The Mike Drass Trophy is named after the late Mike Drass, Former Athletic Director and Football Coach for Wesley College. Drass was the AD for the Wolverines from May 2003 until his passing in May 2018. He also coached one of the most successful DIII football programs for 26 seasons. He was an instrumental piece to the seven founding members of the Atlantic East Conference.
Marymount tallied 150 total with ten Atlantic East Titles across the 2022-23 campaign, six on the women’s side and four on the men’s side. The Saints took titles in men’s soccer, women’s volleyball, women’s golf, both men’s and women’s basketball, swimming, and tennis, as well as women’s track and field. The winter sweep pushed the Saints to lead the conference and a strong spring showing kept them a top the leader board.
Cabrini landed second in the Drass Trophy standings with 112 points. The Cavaliers are second on the men’s side and third on the women’s side of the Commissioners Cup. Cabrini finished with conference titles in field hockey, softball, men’s and women’s lacrosse as well as men’s golf.
Marywood sits third overall and second on the women’s side of the Commissioners Cup. Marywood men’s teams sit fourth with cross country and track and field titles. Women’s soccer took the title, while the Pacers women were the runner ups in women’s lacrosse and track and field.
Neumann sits fourth in the men’s and fifth on the women’s standings landing fourth in the Mike Drass Trophy. The Knights top finishes were runner up finishes in men’s soccer, men’s basketball and men’s tennis.
Immaculata sits third in the men’s standings, while they are fifth in the overall and women’s standings. Immaculata took a conference title in baseball to keep their third place standing on the men’s side. Gwynedd Mercy is next in the overall with a sixth place finish in the Commissioners Cups and Mike Drass Trophy, while Centenary closes out the final standings.
