LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week on Monday for the week ending on March 5th. Cabrini’s Olivia Little and Marymount’s Hannah Smith earned Player and Defensive Player of the week honors respectively.

School: Cabrini

Brief Outlook of Week: Little was a force on offense as she led the Cavaliers to a 22-5 victory over Webber International. The graduate student tallied eight goals and added five assists for 13 points in the game. Little also caused two turnovers in the contest.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Hannah Smith
School: Marymount
Class: Sophomore
Position: Goalkeeper
Hometown: Wilmington, N.C..
High School: EA Laney
Brief Outlook of Week: Sophomore Hannah Smith was a wall in goal for the Saints over the week helping them pick up two strong wins over Arcadia and Hood. Earning the win in both contests, she collected 14 total saves, allowing just 14 goals across the contests. In the final minutes win over Hood, she put up clutch saves down the stretch of the fourth quarter to secure the win.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Brylin Adams (Gr., Attack, Neumann): Adams tallied nine goals and two assists for 11 points in a 2-0 week for Neumann. The graduate student also finished with 13 draw controls and two ground balls. In a 12-9 win at Virginia Wesleyan, Adams finished with six goals and an assist and six draw controls. She followed with three goals and an assist with seven draw controls in a 13-6 win against Eastern.
Catriona Corrigan (Gr., Goalkeeper, Neumann): Corrigan went 2-0 in the net as the Knights picked up two wins,. She also tallied seven groundballs. She made eight saves in a 12-9 win at Virginia Wesleyan. She followed with four saves and two goals-against in three quarters of work in a 13-6 win over Easter.
Kristin Varilla (Jr., Attack, Gwynedd Mercy): Varilla in two games this week finished with ten goals an assist for elevent total points. Varilla also had six groundballs, five draw controls, and two caused turnovers.
