LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men’s Basketball weekly award winners on Monday, as Neumann’s Jalen Vaughns and Gwynedd Mercy’s D.J. Johnson each earn weekly honor as Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week respectively.

Player of the Week:
Name: Jalen Vaughns
School: Neumann
Class: Senior
Position: Forward
Hometown: Tobyhanna, Pa.
High School: Pocono Mountain West
Brief Outlook of Week: Vaughns averaged 26.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in an 0-2 week for the Knights. He also added four assists and two blocks. Against Alvernia, the senior notched a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. He followed with 32 points and a four-point loss at Salisbury.

Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: D.J. Johnson
School: Gwynedd Mercy
Class: Sophomore
Position: Guard
Hometown: Norristown, Pa.
High School: Norristown
Brief Outlook of Week: Sophomore D.J. Johnson offered spirited defense in an early second-half run that separated Gwynedd Mercy from Salisbury by double digits. The guard tallied three steals and a block to go with four rebounds and 12 points. The Griffins allowed just 57 points in the contests.

Weekly Honor Roll:
CJ Highsmith (Fy., Center, Marymount): Highsmith Jr. notched his first double-double in Marymount gear on Saturday, as the first year pulled down 12 boards with his 12 points scored. He added four blocks to his line in the performance.

Donoven Mack (Jr., Guard, Cabrini): Mack scored a game-high 23 points on efficient shooting (7-12 FG, 3-3 3PT, 6-7 FT) and grabbed 9 rebounds in Wednesday's game against Eastern.

JoHaan Vinson (Sr., Guard, Gwynedd Mercy): Vinson finished with his first double-double (13 points-12 rebounds) as a Griffin.
