LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men’s Lacrosse weekly award winners on Monday, as Immaculata’s David Azzarano and Neumann’s Jake Methlie won Player and Defensive Player of the Week honors respectively.
Player of the Week:
Name: David Azzarano
School: Immaculata University

Brief Outlook of Week: David Azzarano had a combined eight goals, and one assist for nine points, with three ground balls over two games for Immaculata. Azzarano scored six goals with an assist in a come from behind win over Albright on March 26th. Azzarano had an assist, and scored the game winning goal with 1:29 remaining as Immaculata scored three goals in the final 5:36 to earn the 12-11 victory. Azzarano had two goals in Immaculata's win over Rosemont on March 24th.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Jake Methlie
School: Neumann University
Class: Senior
Position: FOGO
Hometown: Springfield, Pa.
High School: Springfield
Brief Outlook of Week: Jake Methlie went 20-for-32 (62.5%) in faceoffs in a 1-1 week for Neumann. He also picked up 13 ground balls. In an 18-6 win at Delaware Valley, went 13-for-18 (72.2%) and grabbed nine ground balls. The senior was 7-for-15 (50%) in a 21-6 loss at Penn College.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Matthew Ludlow (Jr., Immaculata): Ludlow made 15 saves on 42 shots faced in Immaculata's 12-11 come from behind win over Albright on March 26th.
Bryan Maguire (Sr., Marymount): Senior Bryan Maguire made history on Saturday in Marymount's 24-12 win over Manhattanville. Notching 14 total points on a goal and 13 assists, Maguire broke the single game records for points and assists for Marymount men's lacrosse history.
Connor Paradis (So., Neumann): Connor Paradis scored eight goals and added an assist in a 1-1 week for the Knights. He also picked up seven ground balls and caused two turnovers. In an 18-6 win at Delaware Valley, the sophomore scored six goals on eight shots on goal and grabbed six ground balls. He added two goals and an assist in a 21-6 loss at Penn College.
