St. Mary's Miller Opens Action at NCAA Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Sophomore Kelsie Miller (Potomac, Md./Winston Churchill) debuted at her second NCAA Division III Women's Swimming & Diving Championships Thursday morning (March 20) with competition in the 100-yard butterfly.
 
In the morning preliminaries of the 100-yard butterfly, Miller finished eighth in her heat with a time of 55.98 for 27th overall in the 48-swimmer field. She had entered the preliminaries seeded 17th with a 55.22.

Last season in her first trip to the NCAA Championships, Miller placed 21st in the 100-yard butterfly in 55.76.

She will be back in the pool tomorrow morning, Friday, March 21, competing in Heat 2 (Lane 7) of the 200-yard butterfly.
