HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Field Hockey weekly award winners on Monday, as Manhattanville’s Emma Maise and Hannah Doherty took home Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively.
Player of the Week: Emma Maise

Position: Forward

Brief Outlook of Week: Maise scored Manhattanville's lone goal of the week in Wednesday's 1-0 win over Gordon. The freshman now has two goals on the season, with the midweek being her first collegiate game-winner.
Defensive Player of the Week: Hannah Doherty

Class: Junior
Position: Goalkeeper
Hometown: Clarkstown, N.Y.
High School: Clarkstown South
Brief Outlook of Week: The junior had a one-save shutout in the Valiants' lone action last week, blanking Gordon on Wednesday. It was her first complete game shutout of the season, guiding Manhattanville to a 4-6 overall record with the win.
