LANCASTER, Pa. –The 2024 Atlantic East Conference Baseball Championship is set to begin on Wednesday. May 8^th with the champion crowned on Saturday, May 11^th. The Atlantic East Champion will earn the conference's NCAA Division III Baseball Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).

The tournament seeding is as follows: 1. Marymount, 2. Cabrini, 3. Immaculata, 4.Gwynedd Mercy

The tournament will begin on Wednesday, May 8^th with two locations for games. No. 4 Gwynedd Mercy will travel to No. 1 Marymount for a single game. Also, on Wednesday No. 3 Immaculata will travel to No. 2 Cabrini. All teams will advance to Friday, May 10^th in the double elimination tournament.

The conference regular season finished with two ties sin the standings. Marymount and Cabrini were tied at the top of the standings with identical 14-4 records. The Saints swept Cabrini in the regular season to take the top seed and host responsibilities for the tournament. The second tie was for the final tournament position between Gwynedd Mercy and Marywood. The Griffins also swept the team they were tied with to earn the fourth and final seed in the tournament.

Immaculata will look to make it three conference titles in a row after winning in 2022. And 2023. Marymount and Gwynedd Mercy have each earned titles since the inception of the conference in 2018. Cabrini will look to finish conference play with the first baseball title in school history.
