LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Track and Field Athletes of the Week, with Marywood’s Abby Megotz and Neumann’s Sydney Wilson earned weekly track and field honors respectively.

Athlete of the Week:
Name: Abby Megotz
School: Marywood
Class: Junior
Hometown: Virginia Beach, Va.  
High School: Tallwood
Brief Outlook of Week: Megotz finished in 14th place in the 400 with a time of 1:03-flat at Widener. She ranked fourth all-time at Marywood in the event. Her time ranks second in the Atlantic East.

Field Athlete of the Week:
Name: Sydney Wilson
School: Neumann
Class: Sophomore
Hometown: Wildwood, N.J.   
High School: Washington Twp.
Brief Outlook of Week: Wilson competed in three field events at the Danny Curran Invitational. She thew a person best of 68’-9” in the discus. She was also two inches short of her personal best in the javelin with a throw of 74’-4”. In the shot put, Wilson finished with a distance of 26’-7.25”.
