LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Lacrosse weekly award winners on Monday, as Cabrini’s Olivia Little and Caroline Gallagher earned Player and Defensive Player of the week honors.

Brief Outlook of Week: Little has had an excellent start to the season, tallying 13 points across the Cavaliers' first two games. Little gave Cabrini immediate offense, recording a first quarter hat trick and ultimately scoring four goals and three assists in Cavs' 17-1 win over Albright. She'd lead Cabrini's comeback effort against Haverford, scoring 3 goals and recording 3 assists against the Fords on Wednesday. Little also collected seven ground balls, five caused turnovers, and seven clears to date this season.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Caroline Gallagher
School: Cabrini
Class: Senior
Position: Defense
Hometown: Cape May Court House, N.J.
High School: Middle Township
Brief Outlook of Week: Gallagher has been very involved in Cabrini's defensive efforts through two games. She has picked up four ground balls and is tied for second on the team with five caused turnovers. The senior also used her breakaway speed for three defensive clears.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Dyani Alonso (Fy., Midfield/Attack, Centenary): Alonso finished the week with five goals and an assist with just five shots in the game against Cedar Crest.
Alysia Collins (Jr., Midfield, Collins): Collins caused five turnovers and recovered six ground balls while recording a goal in the Griffins' 0-2 opening week. She opened her season a goal, two ground balls, and four caused turnovers at King's College (PA), then offered four ground balls and caused a turnover versus Delaware Valley University.
Lindsey Fagan (Sr., Attack, Neumann): Lindsey Fagan tallied 10 goals and an assist to lead Neumann. The senior also notched 12 draw controls, two ground balls and a caused turnover. Fagan scored five goals, including the first three for the Knights, in a loss to Stockton. She followed with another five goals and added an assist in a win at Bryn Mawr.
Jacki Murray (Sr., Midfield, Immaculata): Murray scored four goals, two assists, had three ground balls, one caused turnover, and two draw controls vs Alvernia on February 21st. She took nine shots, seven of those shots were on goal (.778%).
Natalie Yilanjian (So., Attack, Marywood): Yilanjian scored eight goals and an assist for nine points in a pair of closely contested losses to Misericordia and Lycoming. In addition to a .533 shooting percentage, she also contributed eight draw controls, two caused turnovers, and four ground balls. Yilanjian matched a career-high with five goals in a 16-13 loss to the Warriors.
