Marywood Women and the Marymount Men Lead In the Commissioner Cup Standings After the Fall

LANCASTER, Pa. At the end of the 2024-25 fall seasons, two programs have a share of the lead for the Atlantic East Commissioner’s trophy. Leading the way are the Marymount men’s program and the Marywood women’s programs. In the race for the Mike Drass trophy, Marywood holds a slight lead in the overall standings.

The Mike Drass Trophy is named after the late Mike Drass, Former Athletic Director and Football Coach for Wesley College. Drass was the AD for the Wolverines from May 2003 until his passing in May 2018. He also coached one of the most successful DIII football programs for 26 seasons. He was an instrumental piece to the seven founding members of the Atlantic East Conference.

Marywood has the current lead for the Mike Drass Trophy with a total of 47 points for the fall. Just behind is Marymount with 45 points. Marywood won the men’s cross country championships as well as the women’s soccer and field hockey titles. The Pacers were third in the women’s cross country championship and earned playoff spots in men’s soccer and women’s volleyball as well.  Marymount took victories in two fall championships: women’s volleyball and women’s cross country. The Saints were runner up in men’s cross country, men’s soccer, and women’s soccer.

On the men’s side of the Commissioner’s Trophy the race between second through fourth is a tight one. Marywood sits in second place with 15 points. In third place is Neumann with 14 points. The Knights took home the men’s soccer conference title and finished fourth in men’s cross country. Immaculata concluded the fall season with third place finishes in men’s cross country and men’s soccer points to take fourth place with 12 points

Immaculata finished in third place on the women’s side with 23 points and sits third overall in the Mike Drass standings. The Mighty Macs were runners up in women’s cross country and field hockey. Neumann was fourth overall on the women’s side finishing with 20 points. The Knights took home runner up in volleyball and third in points for women’s soccer.
