LANCASTER, Pa. – The 2023 Atlantic East Conference Men's Lacrosse Championship is set to begin on Saturday, April 29^th and crown the champion on Saturday, May 5^th. The Atlantic East Champion will earn the conference’s NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
 
The tournament seeding is as follows: 1. Cabrini, 2. Gwynedd Mercy, 3.Marymount, 4. Marywood, 5. Immaculata, 6. Neumann
 
The tournament will begin on Saturday, April 29th with the No. 3 seed Marymount hosting No. 6 seed Neumann, while No. 5 Immaculata will travel to No. 4 Marywood for an opening round contest. The semifinal round will take place on Wednesday, May 3^rd with top seed Cabrini hosting the lowest remaining seed while, No. 2 Gwynedd Mercy will host the other first round winner. The 2023 championship game will take place on Saturday, May 6^th at the highest remaining seed. All game times will be set by the home team and are subject to change.
 
The conference regular season finished with a three way tie in the standings for seed four through six. two ties on the standings. First Marymount and Neumann both finished 5-1 for a total of 15 points. Each team was 1-1 against the group of teams, which moved the tiebreak to goals allowed in conference play. Marywood secured the fourth seed allowing the fewest goals across the six conference games at 65. Immaculata and Neumann then moved back to head-to-head tiebreaker with the Mighty Macs winning and taking the fifth seed in the tournament.

Since the conference inception in 2018, Cabrini has won the three conference titles and hope to continue their success with a 2023 Atlantic East Title.  The Cavaliers have a running conference win record of 139 straight victories.
