Leesburg, Va. - Marywood University women's cross country won its fifth consecutive Atlantic East Conference Championship Saturday at Morven State Park.

The Pacers have four top ten finishes on route to the fifth straight conference title.  Finishing second in the team score was Marymount (40 points) followed by Gwynedd-Mercy (63 points). Immaculata finished fourth (89 points), with Centenary landing fifth with 122 points.

Runner and Rookie of the Year honors goes to Immaculata’s Aubrey Donahue who crossed at 24:45.3. Marymount’s top finisher was Mikayla Stephens in a time of 25:13. Neumann’s top finisher was Courtney Humphreys who crossed in third at 25:19.5.  Fourth and fifth went to Marywood teammates Paige Redman (25:54) and Alyssa Williams (26:20.5). Avery Finnegan was sixth in a time of 26:36, followed by Marywood’s Gabrielle Snee in 27:27.5. The top seven finishers were also awarded First Team All-Conference recognition at the meet.

The Second-Team All-Conference recognition went to the runners finishing places eighth through fourteenth place. Marymount’s Abby Hughes finished eighth (27:50.8), while Gwynedd Mercy’s top runner, Keely Greene finished ninth (28:34.3). Marywood had the 10^th and 13^th place runners in Zoe Badner (28:41.5) and Maddie Gentile (29:33.3). Gwynedd Mercy’s Caroline Cleary (11^th 29:24.5) and Hailey Bloom (14^th 29:52.3) joined Greene with Second Team All Conference Honors. Closing out the second team with a 13^th place finish was Gabrielle Weirsky (29:31.8) from Marymount.

The Atlantic East Elite 20 Award is given to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA competing at the final site of the championship from the top two teams. This year's there was a tie between Marywood’s Zoe Badner and Marymount’s Ariana Grant who both hold a 4.0.
