2022 Baseball Championship Seeding Set

LANCASTER, Pa. (Baseball) – The 2022 Atlantic East Conference Baseball Championship is set to begin on Wednesday, May 11th with the champion crowned on Friday, May 13th. The Atlantic East Champion will earn the conference’s NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
 
The tournament seeding is as follows: 1. Immaculata, 2. Cabrini, 3. Gwynedd Mercy, 4. Marymount
 
The Atlantic East tournament format will feature the top four teams from the conference regular season over the course of a week. On Wednesday, the 11th, 2 games will be played between the #1 and #2 seed home fields. The #4 seed will play at the #1 seed (Game 1) and the #3 seed will play at the #2 seed (Game 2). On Thursday, the 12th, the losers of game 1 and game 2 will play in an elimination game (Game 3). Immediately following, winners of game 1 and 2 will play (Game 4). The final game of the day, which will be an elimination, will feature the winner of game 3 and the loser of game 4 (Game 5). Friday, May 13th will be the championship series.

Wednesday, May 11 (2 games) (played at #1 and #2 seed home fields)
Game 1 #4 Marymount @ #1 Immaculata, 2PM
Game 2 #3 Gwynedd Mercy @ #2 Cabrini, 3PM

Thursday, May 12 (3 games) at #1 Immaculata University
Game 3 Loser G1 vs. Loser G2 (elimination game), 9AM
Game 4 Winner G1 vs. Winner G2, 12:30PM
Game 5 Winner G3 vs. Loser G4 (elimination game), 4PM

Friday, May 13 (1 or 2 games) at #1 Immaculata University
Game 6 Winner G4 vs. Winner G5, 12PM
Game 7 Winner G6 vs. Loser G6 (if necessary), 3:30PM

Since the conference inception in 2018, Gwynedd Mercy and Marymount have won baseball titles.
