Marywood Wins Third-Straight Women's Track & Field Title

Immaculata, Pa. — Marywood University won the women's track & field championship for the third consecutive time this weekend at Immaculata University. 

Marywood finished with 287 total points in the women's standings. Marymount University were runners-up with 127 points. Gwynedd Mercy University finished third with 118 points. 

Marywood earned Field Athlete of the Year laurels as Kristen Persico repeated as Women's Field Athlete of the Year, while Siobhan McShea was awarded Track Athlete of the Year.

The Pacers also received the Elite 20 award for the top individual grade-point average among the top two finishing teams. Brianna Roth claimed the award for the women's side.
