Women's Cross Country 10/31/2021 8:40:21 AM Marywood Wins Third-Straight Atlantic East Women’s Cross Country Title Scott, Pa. - Marywood University women's cross country won its third consecutive Atlantic East Conference championship Saturday at a rainy Lakeland High School course. The Pacers secured five top-ten finishes to earn 22 points and reclaim their conference title for the third time. Marywood edged second-place Immaculata (45 points) and third-place Gwynedd Mercy (85 points). The Macs had two top-ten finishers while the Griffins landed one in the top pack. Neumann (114 points) and Marymount (118 points) took fourth and fifth while Cabrini (137 points) and Centenary (168 points) rounded out the competition in sixth and seventh, respectively. Marywood's Katie Shea finished as the top performer with a time of 25:30 , besting the second and third finishers by a matter of seconds. Taylor Seprosky came in with a time of 25:31 and Hayley Gaines grabbed third after running the 6k course in 25:32, both of Marywood. Rounding out the top-five were Immaculata's Emma McNamee (26:07) and Neumann's Courtney Humphreys (26:55). Finishing six through ten were Marymount's Jules Lemmon (27:00), Marywood's Alyssa Williams (27:06), Immaculata's Nicole Wheeler (27:36), Marywood's Madison Howell (27:39) and Gwynedd's Alicia Bennett (27:49).
