HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and D3baseball.com released their All-Region teams on Tuesday, with the Atalntic East siiting in Region V. Following an outstanding season from several programs and individuals, five different players were tabbed to Region V teams.
Marymount's
Quincy Via and
Ben Smallwood each garnered First Team All-Region from D3baseball.com, with Via picking up First Team honors from the ABCA, as well. Smallwood added a Third Team All-Region award from the ABCA, with
Evan Schick rounding out with a Second Team All-Region selection from the ABCA. Gwynedd Mercy's Jimmy DeCarlo, a designated hitter, landed a spot on the ABCA Region V Third Team and D3baseball Second Team. Fellow Griffin Connor Hafto secured a D3Baseball Third Team Region V selection.

Quincy Via- Via continues to rack up the awards after one of the most dominant seasons at the plate and on the basepaths in Marymount baseball history. Batting .422, the senior slugged .578 with 15 doubles, two triples, and three home runs, whole scoring 62 runs and driving in 33 RBI. Getting on base at a .505 clip, the Springfield, Va. native impressed with 62 stolen bags on the season on 68 attempts, leading the nation in the category. This is the second All-Region nod for Via in his career, first on the First Team.
Ben Smallwood- Smallwood earned his first career All-Region selections after being the top arm for the Saints across the year. Going 7-2 on the season in nine starts, accumulating 66.0 innings, the junior righty pitched to a 2.73 ERA including NCAA Tournament play. He struck out 29 opposing batters while walking just six. He garnered First Team All-Conference after notching a 1.71 ERA in AEC action, sporting a 4-1 record.
Evan Schick- Schick nabbed his first career All-Region selection after a touted year as the starting third baseman for the Saints. Batting .421 across the season, he slugged .564 with 15 doubles, one triple, and one home run. He drove in 32 total RBI through the year and had an on-base percentage of .523 in the heart of the Marymount lineup. He was selected First Team All-Conference this season, adding up a strong junior campaign.
Gwynedd Mercy (

Jimmy DeCarlo- DeCarlo (39gp-38gs) totaled 23 runs and 40 RBI with a .376 (56-for-149)/.448/.456 slash line. The Red and Gold captain was hit by five pitches, drew 17 walks, and struck out 13 times over 149 at-bats. He was named to the AEC Baseball Weekly Honor Roll on February 23, March 17, March 30, and April 6.
Connor Hafto- As the staff ace for 2026, Hafto (11gp-11gs) was vital to the Griffins' success. He went 5-2 on a 2.73 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP. Over 62.2 innings of work, he allowed 19 earned runs on 62 hits and 16 walks. Hafto threw one wild pitch, hit 13 batsmen, walked 16, and struck out 45 while holding opponents to a .259 batting average. He was named to the AEC Baseball Weekly Honor Roll on April 20 after an 8.1-inning gem in the Griffins' 3-2 win over Marymount University (Apr. 17); Hafto scattered four hits and three walks over 25 outs as he induced the Saints into 15 groundouts while carrying a shutout into the ninth inning.
