HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men’s Soccer weekly award winners on Monday, as Marymount swept the awards with Erick Shoetter-Rojas and Bayron Banegas were named Player and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively.
Player of the Week: Erick Shoetter-Rojas

Brief Outlook of Week: Shoetter-Rojas notched the game-winning goal in the second half against Stevenson on Wednesday, scoring one of his three shots on the evening. Through the Saints' 1-0-1 week, the junior added a crucial outing in the midfield to keep #8 regionally-ranked Juniata off of the scoreboard, leading to a scoreless draw on Saturday.
Defensive Player of the Week: Bayron Banegas

Brief Outlook of Week: Playing all 180 minutes in the net for the Saints in their 1-0-1 week, Banegas picked up a 2-1 win on Wednesday against Stevenson before shutting out #8 regionally ranked Juniata on Saturday. He notched a career-high 12 saves against Stevenson before tallying away eight more saves on Saturday in a 0-0 draw, totaling 20 saves through the week of undefeated action. He posted a nearly perfect .952 save percentage.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Andrew Roberto, Gwynedd Mercy: Roberto earned his first win in the Red and Gold as the graduate goalkeeper made four saves in a 5-1 win over the University of Valley Forge. He posted a .800 save percentage in the lone match.
